When I was planning my own wedding, I was laser-focused on what I wanted. The excitement was real—but so was the overwhelm. I ended up researching hundreds of venues across the U.S. (and abroad), and visited over 35 venues in person. Yes, 35.
My mom and sister were troopers as I dragged them from state to state—New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts- you name it. And out of all of those, I only liked four.
What I discovered?
So many venues look amazing online, but they just don’t deliver in person. The entire process left me drained and frustrated. I remember saying, “I wish I could just outsource this part to someone who knows what they’re doing.”
